Just a day after Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne advocated for a ban on trophy hunting, fellow rocker Ted Nugent, a known hunting enthusiast, has listed 10 autographed whitetail deer skulls for sale on his website.
Trophy hunting involves killing animals for sport and preserving their remains as trophies, often discarding edible parts.
On Tuesday, November 19th, Ted Nugent‘s official web store listed 10 autographed whitetail deer skulls for sale. Each skull is priced at $1,750 and can be purchased here.
The item description on Nugent’s site reads: “Each skull is from a deer that Ted tagged with his bow and arrow from his property in Michigan. Each is unique and one of a kind.”
The musician shared in a statement on his website: “The ultimate quality of life enhancer is Spirit Mojo! Testimonials from the recipients of my autographed deer skulls exclaim astonishing celebratory quality of life enhancing GonzoMojo! Gityasome!”
Nugent’s decision to list the deer skulls comes just a day after Ozzy Osbourne, and his wife Sharon appeared in a video supporting the UK’s Campaign to Ban Trophy Hunting. The video, released on Monday (November 18) by Ban Trophy Hunting UK, features the couple wearing custom t-shirts that read, “Ozzy says ‘No trophy hunting!’”
