TESTAMENT frontman Chuck Billy and guitarist Eric Peterson recently talked to Alternative Nation about the band’s new album and a false tour that has been spread around.

When asked if there’s new music on the way, Peterson stated, “Yeah we should have a new album out by next year. No name yet but we will do a tour for it.”

Billy added, “After this tour with SLAYER, we aren’t booking any tours for a little while. We will work on the new album as soon as we get home. I’m not sure of the direction yet, but it will without a doubt be a thrash album. It’s hard to tell though because if anything that comes out of the norm happens and we like it, we just go with it. It’s what we did for the last few records.”

The two were asked about the recently-rumoredBattle Of The Titans” tour that TESTAMENT were going to be do next year with OVERKILL, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES and DEATH ANGEL. Peterson replied, “Never heard about that tour. Would be a cool one if it was really!” Billy chimed in, saying, “That’s not real. I’ve seen that posted around. Someone online made up a flyer i guess. I’ve seen stuff this allot lately.”
