It is a scientific fact that dinosaurs did not go extinct, they simply evolved to birds. It is also a scientific that a guy like Lemmy Kilmister could never die, he simply stays in a kind of limbo and do his appearances in bands like The Drippers.
Don’t get fooled by the name The Drippers which reminds those 1950s and 1960s rock bands. It’s nothing like that sweet and watered cheesy music. The band plays a furious and full of wraith Metal that reminds a lot what Lemmy Kilmister and the guys used to do in the 1980s. The frenetic music contained in “Action Rock” begins with the most frenetic and psycho “No Shagril-La,” as it may concern a very well chosen name for the song. as it is an insane piece of Metal. In each track you feel the strong presence of the best and most insane piece of early 1980s Metal which we can notice in bands like Saxon, Tank, and of course, Motörhead. However, the strongest taste and flavor comes from Motörhead as it may be seem by tracks as “White Light” whose beginning may deceive the unadvised. Well, not only the unadvised, but also the advised because it sounds as Motörhead’s best.
It’s bands like The Drippers aside all the similarity to Motörhead that makes us believe that better times are going to come. Uptempo and energetic songs like those they play are the thing that make us move on. There are eleven songs of the purest and most insane high adrenaline fun music of all. The only thing I have to complain about The Drippers is their name. Too 1950s and rock’n’roll to me, I’d rather see something more Metal as their music because make no mistake this is Metal palying on! And loud!
The Drippres “Action Rock” was released on August 02nd via The Sign Records.

I’m just a lucky guy who has chosen metal to live with for a long time. Metal changed my life for good. It made me more confident and stronger. Metalheads are naturally far away from the mass mediocrity and don’t accept impostures from anybody else. Metal is more than music, it’s a life changing oportunity!
