THE PRODIGY singer Keith Flint died as a result of hanging, it has been revealed.
Singer was found dead on March 4 at his home in Essex, a county in the southeast of England, northeast of London.
A postmortem was carried out on Flint‘s body last Thursday. The coroner’s officer, Lynsey Chaffe, said during a two-minute hearing on Monday that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. “Police attended, all protocols were followed and his death was confirmed as not suspicious,” she said. Chaffe added that Flint‘s death remains under investigation while toxicology reports are awaited.
Essex’s senior coroner Caroline Beasley-Murray adjourned the inquest until July 23 for a full hearing.
Flint performed vocals on both of THE PRODIGY‘s number one singles – “Firestarter” and “Breathe” – which were released in 1996.
