Veonity – The Final Element Review

Without a shadow of doubt, this has been a fantastic year for Power Metal. I lost count of how many great records I reviewed. Here we got Veonity with “The Final Element,” an album that proudly keeps this year tradition with a melodic and full of emotion Power Metal. To some extent, the album has got all the elements that made Power Metal what it is. Curio about “The Final Element:” I swear its cover in a YouTube channel.

“The Final Element” commences with the modern elements that are currently part of some bands Power Metal music. “Premonition” is a piece full of electronic elements plus a catchy chorus that presents the album with all its power and the glory. It’s followed by the Helloween inspired “Chains of Tyranny” with that undistinguishable double drumming plus a high-pitched vocal. From where I’m standing one of the best tracks of the album with its unbeatable emotionional content. A song to singalong and headbang all night long. Pay attention to the inspired guitar riff. The emotional vocals go on in “Horsemen of the Dark” with some Iron Maiden inspired twin guitars plus some chorus reminding Helloween and all their power and glory. It’s incredible how Veonity were able to borrow all those elements and make something of their own. But beware my dear diehard fan, there is also room for cadenced, and slower, tracks as “Riders of the Revolution” with amazing guitars. By the way, if there is one thing “The Final Element” is to be known of the album is all the singalong choruses and powerful melodies. As I said, this album is an album to singalong all night long.

With “The Final Element” Veonity keep the same musical constance 2020’s “Sorrows” and 2022’s “Elements of Power” saluted us. Comparing the albums, I guess this one is a little bit heavier and more emotional. So, the band does its best keep away its faith with an album that makes the most die-hard fan blush. Power Metal at its best. Always!

Veonity “The Final Element” will be released on October 18th via Scarlet Records.
