We all know how Gene ‘The Long-tongued’ Simmons is fond of a lawsuit. Better yet if it envolves money and the very right chance to win a couple of dollars. Aware of this, Vinnie Vincent appeared at this past weekend’s Chiller Theatre event in Parsippany, New Jersey, with a ‘new’ version of his “Ankh Warrior” make-up.
History goes that the original “Ankh Warrior” ancient Egyptian motif was created by Paul Stanley, KISS‘s lead singer and rhythm guitarist. Vincent wore the makeup with KISS while on tour in support of the band’s 1982 album “Creatures Of The Night”, on which he played lead guitar on six songs prior to becoming an official member of the band. After that, he remained with KISS for one additional album, “Lick It Up” recorded in 1983, before being fired from the band for alleged unethical behavior.

I’m just a lucky guy who has chosen metal to live with for a long time. Metal changed my life for good. It made me more confident and stronger. Metalheads are naturally far away from the mass mediocrity and don’t accept impostures from anybody else. Metal is more than music, it’s a life changing oportunity!
