VIO-LENCE Performs In Melbourne Without Any Original Members (Video)

Vio-Lence With Jason North

Bay Area thrash legends VIO-LENCE had to perform without their frontman Sean Killian on the last date of their Australian tour, held at Max Watt’s House of Music in Melbourne on March 11th. Due to Killian‘s illness, the band had to perform without any of their original members present on stage. To fill in for the vocalist, Jason North of TRUTH CORRODED took over the vocal duties instead. Footage from the show can be seen below.

Apart from Killian, there are other members of VIO-LENCE who are not present during their live performances. Phil Demmel, the band’s guitarist, who recently expressed uncertainty about the band’s future, did not participate in the Australian tour. Instead, Miles Dimitri Baker filled in for him. This change in live members follows the firing of the original drummer, Perry Strickland, a month ago, and the departure of guitarist Bobby Gustafson in October last year. The two have since been replaced by Miles Dimitri Baker (VOIDBRINGER, INTERLOPER, ex-RINGS OF SATURN) and Ira Black (VICIOUS RUMORS, HEATHEN, METAL CHURCH) respectively.
