Wandar deliver exactly what its band name makes the fan expects, that is, vibrant, shocking and despaired Black Metal with many modern features as “Tiefe Erde” slowly go revealing to the fan. From the very first beginning, the album goes revealing some tricks that attracts the fan as the deceiving intro “Bedrängnis” whose classical piano tricks the unadvised to make the honors to the simple, but hitting hard “Trug.” It is this mix of power and anger with some depair mixed with an urgent despair that gives the band’s musical signature. They do it in such a natural way that amazes the fan.
The music in “Tiefe Erde” has many backs and forths as the aforementioned piano comes back in the instrumental and full of cinematic moods “…Nächtlich” which acts as a bridge to the full of emotion “Drangsal,” a track that drags the fan into some of frenesi mixed with a strange depressive mood. The track goes changing a lot its atmospheres until the coming of the despaired and moody “Erden,” so far the fastest and the slowest track of the album.
“Tiefe Erde” mixes pretty well a lot of emotions, mostly the urgent despair embellished with a touching depressive vibe. The album deals with this kind of opposites as the slow and fast, the happy and the sad, anger with depression. This is the new Metal. Live with it.
Wandar “Tiefe Erde” was released on May 01st via Vendetta Records.

I’m just a lucky guy who has chosen metal to live with for a long time. Metal changed my life for good. It made me more confident and stronger. Metalheads are naturally far away from the mass mediocrity and don’t accept impostures from anybody else. Metal is more than music, it’s a life changing oportunity!
