As previously reported, residents in Italy have begun singing songs and playing instruments from their windows and balconies amid the country’s continued coronavirus lockdown.
Several videos surfaced online with people all over Italy singing in unision with their neighbours, blasting music on full volume, or just playing their instruments.
British heavy metal legends BLACK SABBATH posted the video on their Instagram, where bunch of people joined together to dance to the “Macarena” from their balconies, and someone overdubbed BLACK SABBATH classic “War Pigs” on an edit of the video.
Couple of days ago, a video was uploaded on March 13 by Enrico Monti, the guitarist of the Italian death metal band SKULLD, which shows him taking to his balcony in the town of Bertinoro to play the first couple of riffs from SLAYER‘s classic “Raining Blood” amid Italy’s coronavirus lockdown.
