Sharing the stage with a stacked lineup that included AMON AMARTH, ANTHRAX, MASTODON, HATEBREED, and rising extreme metal act NECKBREAKKER, the night proved to be a seismic celebration of heaviness. Adding to the excitement, SLAYER is now set to play one of the most highly anticipated metal events of the decade: the farewell show for BLACK SABBATH and Ozzy Osbourne tomorrow night, July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham.
SLAYER shocked the metal world when they announced their reunion in early 2024, just five years after what was billed as their “final” tour. The band confirmed they would be reuniting for select live performances in 2025, including headlining appearances at major festivals such as Louder Than Life and Festival d’été de Québec.
