Sweden’s Alternative Metal/Rock act WE ARE THE CATALYST has since the start received more than 6 million streams, been on tour in China and the UK and have had FM radio play in the UK, US as well as other countries, all without label support. The band have now partnered up with Stockholm-based Flick Agency, co-owned by Despotz Records, for their upcoming releases in 2021.
The band says:
“We are thrilled to be working with Flick Agency on our new album and our existing back catalouge both as a label and as a publisher and we are convinced this will absolutely raise our profile and give the album, and the coming singles from it, the attention they deserve!“
WE ARE THE CATALYST‘s songs are melodic and heavy with an unique blend of Rock, Metal, Pop and Electronic elements and lyrics that often deals with the darkness in – and – outside of us. The fourth full-length album will be released in November 2021, and the first single “Set The World On Fire” is out now! Check out the new animated video for the track below.
The band gives statement on comic book-like video:
“We’ve hired Kenny’s brother Tony Boufadene, who works as a tattoo artist, to draw pictures based on a story we created in a fictional universe. We’ve been dreaming of doing a music video like this for a long time, where we get pictures created from a story we presented and the result is, to say the least, incredible!“
