ARMORED SAINT experienced a profoundly emotional moment at their recent concert in Amsterdam. A dedicated fan, Frank, who is battling stage 4 cancer, made an extraordinary effort to attend the show. Despite his critical condition, Frank was determined to fulfill his lifelong dream of seeing ARMORED SAINT perform live.
With the help of medical professionals, Frank was transported to the concert venue in an ambulance. The band was deeply moved when they learned about Frank‘s situation and his unwavering passion for their music. They took the time to meet with him backstage, sharing heartfelt words and capturing a lasting memory in a photograph.
Band said in a social media post: “A huge ARMORED SAINT fan named Frank showed up at our gig in Amsterdam in a hospital bed. Believe it or not, he was transferred by ambulance. We quickly found out that Frank has stage 4 cancer and only has a little time left to live. One of his last wishes was to see ARMORED SAINT live.
“We all got to meet him and speak w him for a bit while we took this photo. During the song ‘Aftermath’, John went into the crowd and sang the song to him and he looked so happy. It was a tear jerker for sure, and tough to get thru the song without losing it.
“Safe travels Frank. It was a pleasure meeting you.”
