METALLICA Reveals 2026 European Tour Dates With PANTERA, GOJIRA, And More

Metallica 2024

METALLICA isn’t slowing down anytime soon. As their M72 World Tour powers through North America, the band has announced a massive European leg for 2026, promising a blend of epic double-header shows and rare one-offs across the continent. With support from heavyweights like PANTERA, GOJIRA, KNOCKED LOOSE, and AVATAR, the 2026 run is shaping up to be one of METALLICA’s most ambitious touring efforts yet.

Kicking off in spring 2026, METALLICA’s fourth year of the M72 World Tour will feature their unique stadium setup with the stage placed in-the-round at mid-field, surrounding the iconic Snake Pit for a fully immersive 360° concert experience.

A major highlight of this tour leg is the return of No Repeat Weekends, where fans can catch two completely different setlists over two nights—no songs repeated, just wall-to-wall classics and deep cuts from the band’s 40+ year catalog. Cities like Frankfurt, Budapest, Dublin, and London will host these double-night events, each with a distinct pair of opening acts and plenty of fan-centered activities between shows.

For fans who prefer a single night of metal fury, the band has also announced eight One Night Only shows in cities that haven’t seen METALLICA in years—including Athens (last played in 2010), Chorzów (2008), and Cardiff (1996). Other stops include Bucharest, Zurich, Berlin, Bologna, and Glasgow.

METALLICA is bringing a hard-hitting lineup of special guests along for the ride. PANTERA, who joined M72 in 2025, returns for another round. Also on the bill are GOJIRA, a familiar face from previous tours, and newcomers KNOCKED LOOSE and AVATAR, adding a fresh edge to the shows.

Each No Repeat Weekend will feature different opening bands each night, reinforcing the idea that no two METALLICA shows on this tour will be alike.

Tickets for both No Repeat Weekend 2-Day passes and One Night Only shows go on sale Friday, May 30 at 10 AM local time. Fan Club members can access exclusive presales starting Tuesday, May 27 at 9 AM local time. Single-day tickets for No Repeat Weekend cities will be available beginning July 25, 2025.

VIP “Enhanced Experiences” are returning, offering everything from meet-and-greets, production tours, early entry, and access to the Snake Pit, to the luxe Black Box Lounge experience. The all-access “I Disappear Ticket” is also back for hardcore fans looking to attend every 2026 European show.
