LED ZEPPELIN frontman Robert Plant delivered a thrilling performance of the band’s classic “Stairway to Heaven” for the first time in 16 years at a charity event in the U.K.
The performance was a part of a benefit show organized by DURAN DURAN guitarist, Andy Taylor, in his fight against prostate cancer.
Robert Plant‘s performance of “Stairway To Heaven” was a notable moment, as it was his first public rendition of LED ZEPPELIN‘s 1971 classic since their 2007 concert at London’s O2 Arena. This momentous performance, later captured in the “Celebration Day” concert film, was the last time that Plant performed the song prior to this charity event.
