A charity auction is now open for a chance to have dinner with METALLICA frontman James Hetfield near his Colorado home. The proceeds will benefit the Adaptive Sports Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing athletic experiences and outdoor activities for individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities, as well as those with chronic illnesses.
The auction winner, along with up to three guests, will enjoy a meal with Hetfield in Edwards, Colorado (close to Vail). Joining them at the dinner will be an athlete from the Adaptive Sports Foundation and a staff member, who will share their inspiring success story with James and the group.
The dinner date will be scheduled based on a mutual agreement between James, the charity, and the auction winner.
The date must be set within three months of the auction’s close and must take place within one year of the closing.
As stated in the auction rules, the winner is responsible for covering the cost of the meal for all attendees.
The auction, hosted on the Charitybuzz platform, concludes on August 21.
