Dave Grohl’s ex, Kari Wuhrer, shared that she isn’t shocked by his recent cheating scandal, claiming she was his secret girlfriend in the ‘90s.
In a recent interview with TMZ on Thursday, September 19, Wuhrer mentioned she had heard “rumblings” about Grohl being unfaithful to his wife, Jordyn Blum, before the recent news emerged that he fathered a child out of his marriage.
Wuhrer also alleged that during her relationship with the FOO FIGHTERS frontman in the late ‘90s, he was still involved with snowboarder Tina Basich. She revealed to the outlet that she unintentionally exposed her affair with Grohl when she called into The Howard Stern Show to vent about him allegedly yelling at her.
However, they crossed paths again years later in Los Angeles when their children attended the same play center.
“He would just look at me like I didn’t exist,” she said. “I just felt like I knew he was scumbag after that.”
Wuhrer‘s remarks surfaced just weeks after Grohl took to Instagram to admit to being unfaithful to Blum.
“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” Grohl wrote a statement. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
“We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
Grohl, often hailed as one of the kindest figures in the music industry, shares three daughters with his wife, model and TV producer Jordyn Blum, whom he wed in 2003. His eldest daughter, Violet, is a touring member of the FOO FIGHTERS.
