Fans Call For JIMMY KIMMEL’s ‘Formal Apology’ After KNOCKED LOOSE Performance

Knocked Loose Jimmy Kimmel

Jimmy Kimmel‘s “Live!” episode faced backlash from viewers after airing performances by the intense metal band KNOCKED LOOSE and the experimental artist Poppy.

Fans took to social media to express their disappointment, arguing that the show failed to provide “adequate context” for the bands’ music, which deviated significantly from the show’s usual lighthearted tone.

Despite Kimmel‘s silence on the matter, some believe this controversy could lead to a more diverse range of musical acts on the show. While this isn’t the first time Kimmel‘s audience has clashed with his musical selections, the recent backlash highlights a significant rift between traditional late-night viewers and those who prefer more alternative and underground music.

Some of the comments from users on Jimmy Kimmel‘s Facebook post were:

If I have to read the lyrics I’ll just read them and not listen to someone yell them. That wasn’t singing, anyone can yell lyrics and get paid.

You know I was trying to enjoy the program. I was sitting on the couch with my son who is an ADOLESCENT waiting to see the musical guest because we like the nice music the show usually books. By the third or fourth ‘JUNT’ from the guitars my son was in tears. He doesn’t like scary things and quite frankly I think the Kimmel show and its staff should make a formal apology.

“How do I sing along with this??? Lol sounds just like a screaming frenzy to me!! Actually starting to hurt my ears!! People who listen to this have no room to complain about crying babies or screaming two year olds taking a tantrum!! Ha ha unreal!!! They call this music Jimmy??”

KNOCKED LOOSE fans, however, were thrilled to see their favorite band perform:

Some kid is gonna be up late tonight casually watching Jimmy Kimmel and hear Knocked Loose for the first time and they’re gonna say, “I wanna start a f***ing band like that” and change their whole life That’s how important this is.

Said it before and i’ll say it again even if hardcore fans give me hate again because they don’t believe bands should be popular: this is very much well deserved for knocked loose, poppy and the scene. i hope at least one kid found them and fell in love last night.
