BLACK SABBATH fans were outraged by the high prices and long queues they faced while trying to buy tickets for the band’s final concert in Birmingham this summer.
This event will be a historic reunion for BLACK SABBATH’s original lineup—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward—playing together for the first time in two decades.
The legendary heavy metal band will headline a special one-day festival at Villa Park, showcasing numerous bands they influenced, such as METALLICA, PANTERA, SLAYER, GOJIRA, and ANTHRAX.
Many fans were left empty-handed and disappointed on Tuesday morning after facing long waits and high prices for presale tickets. Ticket prices ranged from £197.50 all the way up to £834.
On social media, fans expressed their frustration, with one writing, “Black Sabbath tickets from £197.50 to £834. Bloody hell”
Another one wrote: “Man, I knew BLACK SABBATH tickets were gonna be expensive but over 800 pounds for tickets is actually a crime wtf,” another complained. Someone else slammed the Ticketmaster website as they wrote: “In the sale for BLACK SABBATH for the site to say it can’t load tickets, what’s going on.”
The cost of the tickets is as follows, according to Joe.co.uk:
- Gold circle standing – £412.50
- General admission standing – £262.50
- Seated tickets – £197.50 / £207.50 / £282.50 / £287.50 / 3312.50 / £342.50 / £352.50 / £382.50 / £392.50 / £412.50 / £422.50 / £427.50 / £432.50 / £437.50 / £442.50 / £527.50 / £662.50

While technically open until tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday (February 14), it is expected for presale to sell out immediately.
The proceeds from the event will benefit Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice, a hospice for children supported by Aston Villa.
