If you want to hear a live version of any MÖTLEY CRÜE song next summer it will have to be on the internet or your personal music device. Nikki Sixx has stated that he will never play another MÖTLEY CRÜE song after the last show of the final tour. SIXX AM will not be doing covers.
He spoke with RiffYou.com stating “”I think they’re totally separate — I really compartmentalize the two. What’s important to me is to never do anything I already did in MÖTLEY CRÜE, because I cherish that music, those times and those band members. So, I never want to try and replicate that. To be respectful to MÖTLEY CRÜE is the biggest gift I can give to fans.”
MÖTLEY CRÜE‘s “The Final Tour” started last year and will end January 1st at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
