OLD MAN’S CHILD Returns To The Stage: First Live Show In 25 Years Announced

Dimmu Borgir Galder Live 2024

OLD MAN’S CHILD, the project led by former DIMMU BORGIR guitarist and bassist Galder (Full name: Tom Rune Andersen Orre), has revealed its first live performance since 2000, set for 2025.

The band is scheduled to take the stage at Tons Of Rock in Oslo, Norway, this June, sharing the lineup with acts like EMPEROR, JINJER, and LORNA SHORE.

This past August, Galder announced his departure from DIMMU BORGIR, stating that after years of careful reflection, he has decided to leave the band to focus on OLD MAN’S CHILD.

He said in the statement at the time: “After almost 25 years of making music and playing with DIMMU BORGIR I have decided to leave the band.

“I have been thinking about this for years and as many of you have been pointing out – it’s time for OLD MAN’S CHILD to get on stage again and finalizing new album.”

OLD MAN’S CHILD‘s latest studio album, Slaves of the World, was released in 2009 via Century Media Records.
