Ozzy Osbourne and Billy Morrison‘s brand-new single, “Gods Of Rock N Roll,” is set to make its world radio premiere on SiriusXM‘s Ozzy’s Boneyard (channel 38) this Friday, January 17, at 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT.
“Gods Of Rock N Roll” is described as “a re-recorded version of the 2015 track, now enhanced with a 61-piece orchestra and choir,” and includes a guest appearance by longtime Billy Idol guitarist Steve Stevens.
The original version of “Gods Of Rock N Roll” served as the closing track on Morrison‘s second album, 2015’s God Shaped Hole.
Ozzy and Billy, longtime friends, co-host the “Ozzy Speaks” show on SiriusXM.
At the age of 76, Ozzy has scaled back his demanding tour commitments in the past few years, grappling with the challenges posed by Parkinson’s disease and undergoing surgery following a fall.
In 2023, the iconic BLACK SABBATH singer had to cancel his scheduled performance at the Power Trip festival due to persisting physical issues.
Ozzy‘s latest studio album, Patient Number 9, was released in September 2022.
