SPIRITBOX has revealed that their second studio album, Tsunami Sea, is set to release on March 7, 2025, through Pale Chord in collaboration with Rise Records. Alongside this announcement, the band has unveiled their latest single, “Perfect Soul,” accompanied by one of their signature visually stunning music videos, directed by Dylan Hryciuk of Versa Films.
“Perfect Soul” offers a glimpse into the album’s melodic sound, balancing riffs and groove with ethereal atmospheres to create a listening experience that pulls listeners in like an incoming tide. The track’s haunting video, set in an abandoned oceanside hospital, follows an angelic Courtney LaPlante as she searches the afterlife, surrounded by ghostly figures and a grotesque, barnacle-covered creature. Interwoven with scenes of the band performing in decaying rooms, the visuals capture the song’s dark, poetic essence, drawing viewers further into SPIRITBOX‘s evolving world.
SPIRITBOX has concluded a milestone year with their second Grammy nomination, this time in the “Best Metal Performance” category for the 2025 awards, recognizing their electrifying track “Cellar Door” and solidifying their position as a powerhouse in modern metal. Building on this momentum, the band teamed up with hip-hop icon Megan Thee Stallion in October for her Megan: Act II deluxe album, infusing their signature style into the track “Tyg.”
As 2024 comes to a close, SPIRITBOX is set to join BRING ME THE HORIZON for stadium shows in Brazil and Mexico City before kicking off their European headline tour in 2025. They’ve also been confirmed as support for LINKIN PARK‘s highly anticipated world tour, accompanying them for stops in Italy, the Netherlands, and the U.K. With their powerful live performances and an exciting new project on the way, SPIRITBOX‘s next chapter is shaping up to be their most exhilarating yet.
