Alicia Taylor took to social media to criticize a punk band’s guitarist, referring to her as a “failed homewrecker” for allegedly pursuing Corey Taylor inappropriately.
Alicia, who has been married to Corey since October 2019, posted a series of messages on X (formerly Twitter) over the weekend, specifically calling out Violet Mayugba of the punk rock band DESTROY BOYS for allegedly trying to start an affair with the SLIPKNOT frontman.
Alicia wrote: “There are women out there who legit think it’s a power move to TRY and coerce taken men to cheat w them. And when their plan doesn’t work, they throw a fit. Violet Mayugba you garbage eater. You’ve done this to so many other couples but never with someone like me in the mix.
“This industry will know you as the failed homewrecker. Everyone will know you as the chick who tried to say PICK ME but FAILED. I know all about you and your history with breaking up marriages. You finally encountered one you couldn’t ‘destroy’. Fitting, isn’t it?”
The details of what happened between Mayugba and Taylor remain unclear, but Alicia claims that Taylor told Mayugba, “nothing was going to come of it.” In response, the guitarist allegedly said, “We’ll see about that.”
Alicia also mentioned that Mayugba‘s parents issued her a cease-and-desist order in an attempt to stop her from sharing the story.
Alicia also alleged that Mayugba took advantage of Taylor during a time when he was ill, had lost weight, and was dealing with mental health issues earlier this year. She further claimed that the guitarist placed her phone number in Taylor’s child’s iPad in an attempt to maintain contact with them.
