On the past Saturday (August 5), Carrie Underwood, the country-pop sensation, took the stage as the opening act for GUNS N’ ROSES in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, delivering a variety of rock cover songs.
Her performance at the Croix-Bleue Medavie Stadium consisted of 18 songs, featuring her unique interpretations of famous rock anthems like “Bad Reputation” by Joan Jett, Pat Benatar‘s “Hit Me With Your Best Shot”, “Wild Horses” by THE ROLLING STONES, “Alone” from HEART, and LED ZEPPELIN‘s “Rock And Roll”.
The highlight of the evening was her vibrant rendition of MOTÖRHEAD‘s legendary hit “Ace Of Spades”, a song she had previously chosen as her music pump-up and introductory track during her earlier “Denim & Rhinestones” tour.
