David Draiman from DISTURBED surprised guests at the wedding of Nita Strauss, the guitarist for the ALICE COOPER band, and her partner, drummer and manager Josh Villalta.
The wedding, hosted at The Hollywood Roosevelt hotel in Los Angeles, California on May 4, featured Draiman‘s performance of METALLICA‘s “Enter Sandman,” accompanied by Villalta and DISTURBED bassist John Moyer. Additionally, Draiman‘s girlfriend Sarah Uli captured a moment of him singing LED ZEPPELIN‘s “Whole Lotta Love” at the same event.
Notable attendees included Nita‘s bandmates Alice Cooper and Chuck Garric, DISTURBED bassist John Moyer and his spouse Brandi, singer Demi Lovato and her fiancé Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, and esteemed chef Chris Santos with his wife, actress Natalie Makenna.
During the record-release celebration of her most recent solo album, The Call Of The Void, on July 6, 2023, in West Hollywood, California, Josh popped the question to Nita.
The couple first crossed paths in 2011, introduced by current Yamaha marketing manager Mike Taft, in the driveway of the Rainbow Bar & Grill in West Hollywood.
