Former PANTERA and DAMAGEPLAN sound engineer Charles Aaron Barnes, sometimes known by his nickname, “Wirez,” was arrested in Plano, TX last month. 60-year-old was charged of possessing and promoting child p*rnography and possession of methamphetamine, MyTexasDaily.com reports.
Investigators, working in an undercover capacity, identified Barnes as an individual utilizing the internet to traffic in child porn*graphy, according to the Collin County Sheriff’s Office.
Statement from the sheriff’s office reads as follows: “These investigators obtained and executed a search warrant for the suspect’s residence in Plano, Texas. Evidence recovered at the scene include devices utilized to share and view child p*rnography as well as eight grams of methamphetamine .”
He is being held at the Collin County Jail on bonds totaling $25,000.
