TOOL Is Selling $500 ‘Undertow’ CD On Tour

Tool band

TOOL is currently selling a special 30th anniversary reissue of their debut album, Undertow, at a price of $500 during their tour. This reissue is not only a celebration of the album’s milestone but also a unique collector’s item, as it’s limited to 7,000 copies, each signed by the band members.

The price tag might seem high, but it reflects the rarity and exclusiveness of the item, which is only available for purchase during the tour.

The limited edition 30th-anniversary reissue of Undertow, is a beautifully packaged collector’s item, as revealed in an unboxing video by band member Justin Chancellor. The special reissue, curated by Chancellor himself, includes a photo booklet, a unique lenticular postcard image, and a commemorative coin designed by artist Vahan Bego.

Despite the fact that Chancellor only joined the band two years after the release of Undertow in 1993, his involvement in the reissue project adds a unique perspective and touch to this special edition.
