At Bruce Springsteen‘s recent concert at the Chase Center in San Francisco on March 31st, an unnamed fan had a stroke of genius: they asked The Boss himself to sign their excuse note so they could skip school the following day.
A female fan who attended Springsteen‘s show, shared that a nearby young girl held up a sign that read, “Skipping School, Sign My Note?” Bruce gladly fulfilled her request.
The woman uploaded a video to her Facebook page, documenting Springsteen holding up the note and signing it for the girl. Afterwards, he returned it to her and sent her a kiss. The post also featured a couple of photos capturing the moment.
The post included a message which said: “No words!!!!! To be in such close proximity to greatness was more than I had ever expected. Bruce knelt down directly in front of me to sign a school excuse for the little girl behind me…”
Springsteen is presently touring globally with his E STREET BAND, with performances scheduled until November 2024. The tour was initially delayed last year due to his treatment for peptic ulcer disease.
