Pop star Demi Lovato has shown a keen interest in partnering with more artists from the heavy metal scene.
After successful collaborations with musicians like Nita Strauss and GUNS N’ ROSES‘ Slash, Lovato has recently stated her enthusiasm to work alongside SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor and KNOCKED LOOSE.
In a recent chat with SiriusXM‘s Jose Mangin on his Metal Ambassador podcast, Lovato shared her heavy metal admiration. During the discussion, she highlighted potential collaborations she’d love to bring to fruition.
“Someone I’ve always wanted to work with is Corey Taylor,” she said (as transcribed by The Pit). “And obviously, working with bands like KNOCKED LOOSE would be sick too. So, I think it’s something that’s on my wishlist, but hopefully, I’ll have some collaborations for Revamped. We’re still working that out though.”
Revamped is Lovato‘s upcoming album, which will include rock renditions of some of her most popular tracks. “Sorry Not Sorry” is among the songs that have received a rock revamp, boasting guitar contributions from Slash.
