Metal Sludge reports the unfortunate passing of James Kottak, a rock drummer recognized for his contributions to SCORPIONS and KINGDOM COME.
At the age of 61, Kottak‘s legacy extends beyond these bands, having toured with WARRANT and DIO for a brief period. Additionally, he engaged in diverse musical endeavors, such as his involvement as the lead vocalist and guitarist in the 1990s group KRUNK.
POISON drummer Rikki Rockett reacted to his friend’s death, tweeting simply: “RIP … James Kottak“.
