Lil’ Wayne, a rapper notorious in the rock genre for his less than stellar live guitar performances that have been endlessly turned into memes, is back at it.
He makes a surprising guest appearance in Jon Batiste‘s latest single, “Uneasy.” In this song, Wayne takes on the challenge of playing an Eddie Van Halen Frankenstrat, attempting to recreate the magic Van Halen was known for.
In addition to contributing a few vocal lines to the track from Batiste’s new album, “World Music Radio”, Wayne also tries his hand at some fingerstyle guitar leads. Meanwhile, Batiste demonstrates his skills on the piano.
