Mechanical Bull Named After OZZY OSBOURNE ‘Temporarily Deactivated’ After Parts Fell Off

Ozzy Osbourne Bull

In the realm of quirky attractions and unconventional naming, one particular mechanical bull stands out: Ozzy Osbourne. However, this boisterous bull recently hit a snag when a vital part decided to take an unexpected detour.

Affectionately named after the legendary BLACK SABBATH singer, Ozzy found himself in a precarious situation when a component broke loose, prompting its “temporary deactivation.”

Network Rail halted the bull’s operations on Thursday afternoon, pending assessment by an engineer to determine any potential damage. Unfortunately, this evaluation is not scheduled until next week, leaving Ozzy inactive for the duration of the Easter break.

A Network Rail spokesperson said: “Ozzy the bull’s movements have been temporarily deactivated as a loose part was found by a Network Rail staff member. Engineers have been notified and whilst there is no safety concern, movements will be suspended until an engineer is able to attend and make a full repair next week.”

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Ozzy discussed his first nomination for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame as a solo artist.

The 75-year-old vocalist, previously inducted as a member of BLACK SABBATH in 2006, expressed his thoughts on the matter, saying: “It’s been driving me mad. It’s an honor that I’m nominated, but I’m not expecting to get in. There’s Mariah Carey, there’s CherLenny Kravitz. I’m up against some serious people. If I get in, I get in. If I don’t, I don’t.”

Ozzy also revealed that he is planning to make a new record. “I’m waiting for [producer] Andrew Watt to give me a call,” he said. “He’s been working with Lady Gaga. I’m dying to make more music.”

Osbourne, who has faced various health challenges in recent times, was also asked about his expectations regarding his eventual return to live performances, considering his physical condition, to which he responded: “I would love to, but I can’t stand up right. Maybe I’ll do something one day. I miss it terribly.” Pressed about whether he would do a short set if inducted into the Rock Hall, he says, “Maybe. We’ll see.”
