Anders Colsefni, the original vocalist for SLIPKNOT, embarked on a tour across Australia and New Zealand, beginning with a performance at Sydney’s Crowbar on October 11. In a notable moment, he performed the entirety of SLIPKNOT‘s debut album Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat, marking its first live rendition in nearly three decades. Colsefni has joined forces with ex-MUSHROOMHEAD singer Waylon Reavis for this unique “Numetal Mayhem” journey. The tour is set to conclude on October 23 in Dunedin, New Zealand.
During a recent podcast conversation with KAOSIS lead singer Xen, Colsefni was asked about his openness to creating a fresh track with his old band, should the proposal come his way.
“Yeah, absolutely,” he responded. “If they contacted me and wanted me to do something, yeah, why not?”
When asked about his favorite SLIPKNOT track since his departure from the band, Anders responded: “To be honest with you, I’m gonna say ‘Wait And Bleed’, the very first one that hit right after I left. And it’s the one that I would have thought that I would have hated the most, just because of my circumstances. But that song, when I heard it, I’m, like, ‘That’s it. I couldn’t have done that like that. So kudos to you, guys.’ So ‘Wait And Bleed’.”
