Rock band L.A. GUNS found themselves at the center of a public spat after making fun of the use of laptops during live performances.

Their remarks didn’t go unnoticed by FALLING IN REVERSE frontman Ronnie Radke, who took to social media to criticize the band for their comments. Radke‘s criticism was sharp, pointing out that digital assistance in the form of backing tracks and lighting effects is a common practice among both new and experienced bands. This controversy reflects the ongoing debate about the role of technology in live music performances, with Radke defending the use of laptops for their versatility and efficiency.

At a recent show, L.A. GUNS singer Phil Lewis told the crowd, “How’s the sound out there, all right? I have a bit of bad news unfortunately, our digital feed and our laptop broke down in soundcheck this afternoon, so we’re going to have to play the whole set completely 100 percent live. You’re okay with that, right?”

While sharing a moment in question on X, Radke wrote “Who in the f**k is this dude to say anything about relying on laptops being used when he relies on a f**king WIG and a pound of makeup and dyed eyebrows to reassure he doesn’t look 75 years old, dude really thinks anyone other than the metalheads in that crowd agree.”

He later added: “My entire band literally destroys you in technicality, performance and pitch, the only thing your geriatric asses are better at are filling up syringes and nodding off in Motel 6s on your dive bar tour. Please refrain from speaking on things you don’t understand, you need your adult diapers changed.”
