SEPULTURA’s ANDREAS KISSER Pays Tribute To Late VÂNIA CAVALERA

Vânia Cavalera, a prominent figure in the music world as the mother of Max and Igor Cavalera and a steadfast supporter of SEPULTURA, passed away at the age of 80. The saddening news of her departure was conveyed on Wednesday (July 5), tenderly shared through a heartfelt post on the social media platforms of CAVALERA CONSPIRACY.

SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser and former bandmate with Max and Igor, expressed his heartfelt tribute to Vânia on his Instagram profile.

He wrote: “Vânia, rest in peace! I am very grateful for everything you did for me at the beginning of my journey with SEPULTURA back in Belo Horizonte, for everything you did for the band and your family. My condolences to Max, Igor and Kira. Very much love.”

While announcing Vânia‘s passing, Max and Igor wrote: “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our matriarch Vania CavaleraVania‘s greatest joy in life was raising and loving her three children MaxIggor, and Kira, and being Vovó to her fourteen grandchildren.

“Our family asks for privacy during this difficult time of grief and as we honor our mother’s wishes and her legacy by continuing to celebrate her 80-year-long journey of love, strength, spirituality and metal.”
