In a candid revelation, Sharon Osbourne, wife of legendary singer Ozzy Osbourne, opened up about a dark chapter in her life, disclosing that she attempted suicide upon discovering Ozzy‘s affair.

Addressing the audience during her London show “Sharon Osbourne: Cut The Crap” on Sunday, she revealed her desire to end her own life upon discovering the singer’s unfaithfulness.

“He always, always had groupies and I was so used to that,” she said, according to Mirror. “But when he knows the name of the person, where they live and where they work… it is a whole different thing as you are emotionally invested. I took I don’t know how many pills.”

She continued: “I just thought, ‘My kids are older. They are fine and can take care of themselves.’ So I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom. The maid tried to come in to clean the room and saw me.”

Ozzy shocked his fans and his wife when his four-year affair with hairdresser Michelle Pugh was exposed in 2016. The affair, which began in 2012, was discovered by Sharon when she found evidence on Ozzy’s emails. The couple, who had been married for more than 33 years and had three children together, briefly separated after the scandal.

Ozzy later apologized for his actions and admitted that he had a sex addiction, which he sought treatment for. He also expressed his regret for cheating on Sharon and breaking her heart, and said that he was lucky that she did not leave him. The couple eventually reconciled and renewed their vows in 2017, after Ozzy proved his commitment and loyalty to Sharon.
