According to The Sun, Sharon Osbourne‘s addition to Celebrity Big Brother is a significant acquisition, and she herself admits that her participation didn’t come without a hefty price tag.
Teaming up with her longtime friend and former X Factor colleague Louis Walsh, Sharon believes that the reported £500,000 she’ll earn will be well justified.
The duo is hinting at the possibility of revealing some behind-the-scenes stories from their tenure on the television talent show. Sharon jests that certain anecdotes might even prompt their former boss Simon Cowell to pull an incredulous expression.
“There will be lots of stories, he’s going to need more Botox after we finish with him,” Sharon said. “There are just so many things, conversations, something else will come to the front of your mind and you think, ‘Oh God, I forgot about that’, or, ‘What about the time that . . . ’ I’m going to be Mother Teresa. I am going in to observe everyone, see if I can sort everyone out and maybe turn it into a little chat show.”
Walsh added that his friends have cautioned him to exercise discretion while on CBB. However, he conceded that he might find it challenging to keep quiet, especially when discussing his old friend and former X Factor boss.
“I’ve always had a fantastic time with him. I wouldn’t be here but for him,” he said. “But I’ll gossip as much as I can about him, as often as I can… as safely as I can. But we’re going to be on mic, so we can’t talk that much about everything we know!”
