Swedish Gothic Metallers DRACONIAN have released yet another song from their upcoming album, SOVRAN, which will be available on October 30th worldwide. “Rivers Between Us” (feat. Daniel Änghede of CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX) can be heard below.
Guitarist Johan Ericsson says,”‘Rivers Between Us’ is DRACONIAN treading somewhat new waters. A soft and slow moving track that in parts flirts with the gothic sound. Also featuring Daniel Änghede of Crippled Black Phoenix fame in duet with Heike Langhans.”
Contrary to many of their peers, DRACONIAN’s sound has remained steadfast to its origins, in particular, the powerful vocal growls of Anders Jakobsson. This is one of the band’s defining and most unique features, along with newcomer female vocalist Heike Langhans sensitively interwoven melodies.
