Pilot And SLIPKNOT Fan Discovers Mysterious Band Billboard From The Air While Flying Above The Desert

Slipknot Mysterious Billboard

The SLIPKNOT community has been left utterly baffled by a recent discovery. Rumors swirled around a mysterious billboard found by one SLIPKNOT fan.

Back in 2023, SLIPKNOT, best known for their album of the same name, unveiled YouCantKillMe.com, a cryptic website sporting a design reminiscent of late-nineties webpages. As the group’s first in a series of upcoming shows draws near, slated for April 27th in Las Vegas, and speculation swirls around the identity of their new drummer—who many believe to be Eloy Casagrande, formerly of SEPULTURA—fans of the masked ensemble scour the site daily for any semblance of clues.

A recent update to the site has introduced a fresh enigma. The update appeared dated April 25, just two days prior to the scheduled SLIPKNOT concert. Notably, file names on the site hinted at coordinates accompanied by the phrase “One Night Only.” Fans wasted no time searching these coordinates on Google Maps, presuming a connection to the annual Coachella festival in California. Adding fuel to the speculation, guitarist Jim Root shared a story on his Instagram this past Tuesday, April 16, depicting his journey towards California, seemingly aligning with this conjecture.

One fan, however, was not satisfied, and went to Reddit to post this: “I’ve been following their site ARG Alternative Reality Game) stuff since the beginning of it being pointed out about 3 weeks ago and I’m determined to get to the bottom of whatever secret they’re hiding. Even if big or small, as a maggot I’m hyper curious regardless if it’s a pop up show or a mask reveal, or a lyric tease.

“I’m calling out any local SLIPKNOT fans to venture out to the specific coordinates to check out if there’s anything there. I’m calling for some group effort, and might make a post directly on the Coachella subreddit and any other subreddit related to the area. If you visit, photo and video updates would be great!”

Approximately four hours later, another fans shared the image below, writing: “I’m a flight instructor at Bermuda dunes airport. I just flew over your location pinned. It’s a SLIPKNOT billboard!”
