German Blackened Crust Heavyweights ANCST have announced their signing to Lifeforce Records, a new band addition and plans for a new studio album in 2018.
Band comments: “We are proud to announce that we will be joining forces with Lifeforce Records for our upcoming album in 2018. Growing up with German metallic hardcore and proto-metalcore, Lifeforce has a special place in our hearts and we are honored to be part of the label family alongside bands such as KING APATHY, dutch grinders TEETHGRINDER or bigger names such as HEAVEN SHALL BURN, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME.
Also, we are happy to reveal the addition of a new band member, Mihai, who will join the band as the first drummer. Mihai delivers some punishing blast beats and most importantly he is a human. For the last 3 years we have been touring with our beloved Roland (404), a sampler that hosted our drum tracks. It was a great ride and it left many of you with great confusion but it always felt strange performing on stage. It’s great to finally be able to hear a human drummer blast his way through these tracks and to play alongside him. Catch the new line up on tour in September. We are all looking forward to this.”
