Children of Bodom‘s latest album, “Halo of Blood”, has been certified gold in Finland for sales in excess of 10,000 copies. The band was awarded with plaques during the packed Bodom Xmas Bash show at Pakkahuone in Tampere.
Keyboard player Janne Wirman commented: ”Physical albums don’t sell that much anymore so we are very thankful for this. Reaching gold or platinum levels cannot be taken for granted”
“Halo of Blood” is the eighth studio album by Children of Bodom . It was released on June 7, 2013 in Europe and June 11 in North America via Nuclear Blast Records. In Japan, the album was released by Marquee Inc. on May 29, 2013.
