DEFTONES Announce Their Own Tequila

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of DEFTONES‘ legendary platinum-certified album White Pony, the band has partnered with Abre Ojos Tequila to release a limited-edition Añejo Tequila.

The limited-edition Añejo was handcrafted in the town of Tequila, Jalisco. It is aged up to two years in American Oak used whiskey barrels, creating caramel, vanilla, hazelnut and chocolate notes. The buttery taste ends with a smoky, mature flavor. It is meant to sip and enjoy.

The tequila will be available at selected locations next Monday, March 15.

This past January, DEFTONES presented Ohms Pale Ale in collaboration with Belching Beaver Brewery.

DEFTONES‘ latest album, Ohms, was released September 25, 2020, through Reprise Records. It is the first DEFTONES album since their eponymous 2003 album to be produced by Terry Date, although the band had worked with him during the sessions of the unreleased album Eros in 2008. It is also their first album in which Stephen Carpenter utilizes a nine-string guitar.
