Josh Martin, former guitarist for grindcore outfit ANAL C*NT, has died after falling from an escalator at the Providence Place mall in Providence, Rhode Island.
Martin, who was 45-years-old, suffered severe head trauma in the fall. WPRI report that witnesses had described Martin as “clowning around” and “riding the rail of the escalator” when he fell off backwards and struck his head on a table on the way down, landing in the food court.
Though the identity of the deceased was not immediately revealed, Vanyaland have since confirmed that it was indeed Martin who passed in the accident.
