It Seems That LINKIN PARK Has A New Singer

Linkin Park New Singer

Is LINKIN PARK possibly considering a comeback to the music scene featuring a fresh vocalist? In a recent interview, Jay Gordon, frontman of ORGY, disclosed speculation circulating about the band’s intentions and provided intriguing insights into the potential direction they might be taking with their new singer.

During a recent conversation with KCAL 96.7’s RadioActive Mike Z. for his Wired in the Empire weekend radio show, Gordon delved into past experiences with LINKIN PARK, reminiscing about their shared history.

“Very, very cool guys and obviously a great band,” he said. “They’ve been around a long time and they’re still going for it,” remarked the singer. “It’s going to be tough without Chester [Bennington], but we’ll see. I hear they got a girl singer now. That’s what I heard.”

Following Mike Z.’s suggestion about the band’s potential return, Gordon slightly retracted his statement and then added: “Don’t quote me on that. I’m not sure who the singer is going to be, but I heard it was gonna be female. They might just try to move on like that. That ought to be interesting.”

Following Chester Bennington‘s death in 2017, the band came together once more on stage for a tribute concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The event celebrated Bennington‘s life and the band’s music, with numerous peers taking on vocal responsibilities.

However, they haven’t officially announced any plans to continue as LINKIN PARK without Bennington.
