Alice Cooper guitarist, Nita Strauss, has unveiled her latest single titled “Winner Takes All,” which includes a special collaboration with the iconic musician. This song is part of Nita‘s eagerly awaited second solo album, expected to be released later this year through Sumerian Records.
“Winner Takes All” marks the third track that Nita has put out with a renowned guest singer, following her tremendously successful “Dead Inside,” which included vocals from DISTURBED‘s David Draiman and led to Nita being the first solo female artist to achieve a No. 1 hit on Active Rock radio.
Additionally, she revisited her instrumental origins in the previous year with the launch of “Summer Storm,” a swift and emotional shredding masterpiece. In October 2022, Nita unveiled “The Wolf You Feed,” a magnificent headbanging tune showcasing the incredible vocal prowess of Alissa White-Gluz from ARCH ENEMY.
Nita comments: “When we were working on the music for this album, there was no question that I wanted to create a song to collaborate with my longtime boss and friend, the legendary Alice Cooper. I think the track accomplishes what we set out to do — showcase Alice‘s voice and signature style on the backdrop of a heavy, modern rock track. After many years of lending my style of playing to Alice‘s music on stage, it was truly an honor to work together and hear his voice on one of my songs!”
