“Ozzy is in chronic pain and begging to be put out of his misery! He’s in such bad shape that he didn’t even notice Sharon wasn’t there,” an insider said to Radar Online.
“Ozzy just lies in bed all day, moaning in pain 24/7. He doesn’t know his family half the time and once mistook Sharon for a total stranger, asking her, ‘Who are you?’ …
“Sharon checked on Ozzy every day from London, but now she’s bracing for the inevitable. There have been times when she wanted to kill him, but now she is terrified of a life without him.”
Ozzy‘s wife Sharon recently spoke about singer’s health during an appearance on SiriusXM. When asked how Ozzy is recovering from his recent setbacks, she responded: “He’s getting there. He had a very, very bad accident this year, but he’s getting there.
“He’s just finished an album, and the album is coming out in January. And he’s doing good. He’s very excited about the duet he did with Post [Malone] and also Travis Scott. It’s doing great. It’s at Top 40 radio, and it’s climbing up every week. It’s doing good.”
Ozzy has previously announced new solo album, Ordinary Man, with a tentative release date of January 2020.
He said in an interview with The Sun: “I’ve made a new album and it’s helped get me back on track. I was just lying in my own self-pity for months. It’s the greatest album I’ve done.”
Ozzy said the record came after he was asked to appear on a track by Post Malone.
“I’d never even heard of this kid. He wanted me to sing on his song “Take What You Want,” so I did and then one thing led to another. I started recording a new album with Post Malone’s producer Andrew Watt. It’s only nine tracks but it was a catalyst to get me to where I am today.”
“If it wasn’t for making this record I would still be on traction, thinking, ‘I’m going to be lying here for ever’. I’ve missed music so badly. My fans are so loyal and so good. Up until making the album I thought I was dying. But that got me off my a**e.”

“This is my first recording in a studio for ten years, so I do feel a bit out of touch. Music goes straight online these days and that’s quicker than it takes me to write a text. It’s all about downloads and streaming now. What the f*ck does that mean? What’s Spotify? I thought it was a skin problem where you woke up spotified.
“The album was all finished in four weeks,” he added.” I said to Sharon that I didn’t feel like I’d made an album because we haven’t ended up screaming at each other.”
