Legendary punk rock guitarist “Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein” of the reunited “Original Misfits” embarked on a spring North American tour “The Tour With No Name 2024” co-headlining OTEP and with direct support of RED DEVIL VORTEX this past april 12th in Reading, PA.

Doyle‘s solo band consisted of wolfman Alex Story (Lead singer of CANCERSLUG), Brandon Strate on bass/backing vocals and Luke Wright on drums. The band was ready to destroy every single stage and city they were stopping at, and we were lucky enough to catch them in Anaheim CA for a night full of horror punk & metal.

Their live shows are an opportunity for fans of metal and horror punk to have a closer experience of the energy a band like Doyle can produce. The band made sure to include on his setlist songs from their last two albums Abominator (released in 2013) and DoyleII: As We Die (released in 2017), making sure fans were satisfied with every single song on the setlist, songs like “cemeterysexxx” or “Run For Your Life” which are fan’ favorites were also played that night.

When performing live, both Doyle and Alex Story look like monsters from a vintage horror movie. Doyle remains faithful to his usual “Frankenstein’s monster” look and corpse paint while the wolfman energy made the whole venue resonate to his “love songs” (as Alex likes to introduce every song on the set list).

Make sure to check Doyle‘s website (officialdoyle.com) for any upcoming tours and news regarding his solo project, as for now he is set to play with the legendary punk rock band “The Original Misfits” headlining Friday, May, 17th at “Sonic Temple” Festival in Ohio and June 8th at “No Values Festival” in Pomona CA.
