One of the legendary pioneers of black metal itself, DARKTHRONE, have revealed the cover art for their upcoming album, “Arctic Thunder”.
No release date has been released for the album as of now, but people speculate a release date to be announced soon with a possible confirmation for a late 2016, early 2017 release.
According to DARKTHRONE via Facebook, “…it is more serious and primitive than usual. Vocals are only done by Ted as I thought this would create a more solemn/introvert atmosphere.”
Not much to go off of, not even a sample of a song to be had, but it’s definitely interesting if all the clues can be believed that DARKTHRONE are going back to their olden days and give use black metal that only the greats can produce.
