Polish contenders to the Pirate Throne, a Krakow-based melodic death metal unit VANE, have recently released a music video for “Rise to Power”. The single is taken from group’s upcoming album Black Vengeance, out on November 30th.
The group has just launched the “Making of ‘Rise to Power'” video via their YouTube channel, where guitarist Robert Zembrzycki talks about all challenges the band had to face while shooting, including cold winds, artificial rain, battery drainage, hypothermia, etc. Video can be seen below.
The upcoming album, Black Vengeance, was inspired by the biography of one of the strangest pirates from this time. The band used the history as a base to create an interesting story full of plot twists and grand events, one of which is betrayal and lust for vengeance afterwards. And all of that is served with melodic and groovy metal sauce.
