Musicwise, The Silent Rage seem to have started where Judas Priest stopped with “Painkiller” and all its guns blazing. “Nuances of Life” maintains all the scorching power Judas Priest were able to bring about. Vocalist Michalis Rinakakis does a pretty good job here making the vocal duets Rob Halford majestically does though the lower and harsher tone of voice. The guitar duo Nikos Siglidis and Nikos Sarbanis does their best to create the best smashing riffs and licks.
I guess it’s totally fair to say that The Silent Rage are inspired on Judas Priest and more notably on the band’s “Painkiller” era. From where I’m standing, it’s great to think “Nuances of Life” begins where “Painkiller” stopped. From the beginning with “The Serpent Lord” my dear child of the night will get this feeling, but I guess it’s the guitars of “Carve Your Rage” that passes this impression better. The sequence of guitar riffs intertwined with guitar licks does the trick. It’s the acoustic “Black Monday” that breaks the sequence of neckbreaking tracks alltogether with its tender and harsh vocals. The track gathers the power and the sweet with balance, a rare thing to do. With it “Nuances of Life” gets to be a real mirror of the nuances of life where things are all mixed. All of this makes “Nuances of Life” an album to appreciate.
The Silent Rage “Nuances of Life” was released on May 26th via Scarlet Records.

I’m just a lucky guy who has chosen metal to live with for a long time. Metal changed my life for good. It made me more confident and stronger. Metalheads are naturally far away from the mass mediocrity and don’t accept impostures from anybody else. Metal is more than music, it’s a life changing oportunity!
